Terms of Service

Aurex Glass (Showers Plus Pty Ltd, ABN 13 688 927 639 "Aurex", "we", "us".

These terms apply when you request a quote, accept a quote, place an order, or book work with Aurex Glass. By accepting a quote or paying a deposit, you accept these terms.

What we do

We supply and install shower screens, wardrobe doors, mirrors and custom glass across South East QLD and Northern NSW. Most of our work is made to measure. It is manufactured for your job and your site.

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time. If site conditions turn out different to what was disclosed, pricing may change. Final pricing may depend on a site measure.

Site measures

Most installed work needs a site measure before manufacture. If a quote was given from your measurements, plans or photos, the price may change after we measure the site.

Custom orders

Custom glass and made-to-measure products are manufactured for your job. Once you approve the order and we order or manufacture materials, the order cannot usually be cancelled or returned. See our Refund and Returns Policy.

If you supply your own measurements, you are responsible for them. Remakes caused by incorrect customer measurements are at your cost.

Deposits and payment

A deposit of 50% of the quoted amount is required before we order materials or book the install. Final payment is due on completion of installation unless agreed in writing.

Goods remain the property of Aurex until paid in full. Overdue amounts may incur administration fees, debt recovery costs and interest where permitted by law.

Your site

You must make sure the site is ready and safe before install. Walls, floors, tiles and openings must be suitable for the products being installed. We do not do building, tiling, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical or structural repairs.

Extra costs may apply for out-of-level walls, unsuitable substrates, access issues, extra hardware, extra labour, or changes after quote approval. Removal and disposal of existing screens or doors are only included when stated in the quote.

Lead times and delays

Lead times are estimates. Delays can happen because of supplier lead times, site readiness, weather or access issues. We will keep you informed, but we are not liable for delays outside our control except where the law says otherwise.

Product appearance

Colours and finishes may vary slightly from photos, screens or samples. Glass and aluminium products may contain minor imperfections within Australian manufacturing and industry tolerances. These are not defects.

Variations

Any change after quote approval may cost extra and add lead time. We will price variations before doing them.

Warranty

We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from installation. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products. See our Warranty and Workmanship Policy for what is and is not covered.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to repair, replacement or refund of the affected goods or services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, except where the law says otherwise.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms removes, restricts or changes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
